Terms & Conditions

A few simple guidelines to ensure our creative journey together is clear, collaborative and enjoyable for everyone.

1. Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required to secure your project and begin work. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before final files or website ownership are handed over. Any additional costs will always be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

2. Project Scope & Revisions

Your proposal outlines the agreed deliverables, estimated timelines and included revisions. Any additional work or significant changes outside this scope may require a revised quote and timeline, which we'll agree upon before proceeding.

3. Timelines & Communication

Project timelines are based on timely feedback, content and approvals from you. Delays in receiving these may affect the completion date. I'll always communicate openly about any changes to our agreed schedule.

4. Pausing a Project

Life happens, and sometimes projects need a little breathing room!

You are welcome to pause your project for up to 6 months, during which I will honour our original pricing, scope and estimated working time, and remain available to complete the project.

After 6 months, we'll need to reconnect and realign on scope, pricing and timelines. Other projects may have been booked in during this period and may need to take priority, so immediate availability cannot be guaranteed.

5. Cancellations

If you decide to cancel after work has begun, the deposit will be applied toward work completed and reasonable costs already incurred. Any remaining balance will be refunded. Additional completed work beyond the deposit amount may be invoiced where applicable.

6. Content & Responsibilities

You are responsible for supplying the content, imagery and materials required for your project unless otherwise agreed. You confirm you have the necessary rights to use these materials and are responsible for reviewing final content and ensuring your website complies with applicable legal requirements.

7. Ownership & Creative Work

Once final payment has been received, you will have the rights to use your approved final designs and website. Unused concepts, working files and any third-party licensed elements remain subject to their original ownership or licensing terms.

I may share completed work in my portfolio and on social media unless we've agreed otherwise. Please let me know if you would prefer for me not to showcase our work together.

8. Website Hosting & Ongoing Support

Website hosting, domains, subscriptions, third-party tools and ongoing maintenance are not included unless specifically stated in your proposal. Once a website is handed over, future updates or technical support can be arranged separately.

9. Agreement

By accepting your proposal and paying the initial deposit, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights that may apply.
